Month in review: Highlights from the Fresh Eyes on Ice data and community
Data Literacy Workshop: Mucking around with Data! This mini-workshop will explore how to help current or future students engage with datasets. We will discuss exploratory data analysis as a compliment to the more traditional explanatory data analysis, and reflect on how to help our students correct course when they go down unfruitful rabbit holes in data analysis. This will be the second of two mini-workshops with Kristin Hunter-Thomson from Dataspire focused on how we can help our students gain data literacy skills and make data choices in their Fresh Eyes on Ice investigations.
